Our church wedding will be at Romsey Methodist Church. Our church wedding will be at Romsey Methodist Church.

Church WeddingChurch Rules

First of all we need to start by explaining some basic church rules:

1) No flash photography during the service.

2) You are not permitted to move around the church during the service.

3) Only real petals may be thrown and not confetti.

4) And of course Mobile phones should be switched off during the service!

Phew! That's got the difficult part over. The minster who will be marrying us, Stella Long, asked us to kindly convey this to ensure a smooth service.

Church Information

Unlike some churches, Romsey Methodist Church has two aisles and therefore there is not a bride and groom side as such in the church. Our wedding will be at 1pm and we would ask anyone that is attending to ensure that they are there and seated before this time.

During the service there will be three hymns but do not worry if you do not have that perfect singing voice as you need only sing along if you want to. You may sing along during the first two hymns and the final hymn will be a silent performance during the signing of the register. A relaxed, smooth, wedding service that is enjoyable to everyone is what we are aiming for. An 'Order of Service' will be available at the church.
